Much before heroes of Nadodikkattu , In Harihar Nagar and Puthukottayile Manavalan, Sukumaran and Nedumudi Venu did a terrific job in upmanship when it comes to wooing a girl in Sathyan Anthikad’s 1983 movie KINNARAM. Nedumudi Venu as always was versatile and great in any area he performed. As for Sukumaran , many even in industry believe he is the first among our leading heroes who brought a sense of subtlety when performing on-screen especially comedy. Which explains why he was easily the preference for Sathyan Anthikad in his early movies (until Mohanlal arrived) . Add Jagathy’s tune stealing music director and Sankaradi’s flirty boss , Kinnaram is still an enjoyable watch after 33 years.
